Donner Farms Virginia is a family-owned Christmas tree farm in Purcellville, welcoming visitors to enjoy a seasonal outdoor experience in the countryside. Located on 15 acres along Snickersville Turnpike, the farm has been growing Christmas trees since 2015, continuing a Virginia holiday tradition and supporting a local family farm.
Visitors can walk the fields and choose a tree to cut themselves. Depending on availability, the selection may include Fraser Fir, Norway Spruce, Blue Spruce, White Pine and Red Cedar. The farm supplies hand saws and assistance, then shakes and bales each tree and helps load it onto visitors’ vehicles. Precut trees may also be available.
A visit offers more than tree shopping: families can take photos by the barn, see antique Farmall tractors and enjoy warm cider. Donner Farms also offers handmade wreaths, bows, centerpieces and tree-care items. Children are welcome, with farm safety rules in place; dogs are not permitted.
