Doodel Crosswords is a forthcoming iPhone crossword app built around quick, bite-size puzzles. Its handmade mini crosswords appear in a swipeable feed: solve one in about a minute, then swipe up to move on to the next. Each puzzle is made by hand, one at a time, giving the experience a personal touch rather than relying on an endless stream of automated content.

New minis are planned every week, and the app is designed to work offline and without ads. The site invites visitors to join the waitlist to be among the first to play when Doodel is ready. Waitlist members are promised a single email at launch, with no spam.

A preview features a 5×5 puzzle called “Bird Watch Mini,” offering a glimpse of the compact format. Positioned as a playful alternative to doomscrolling, Doodel turns spare moments into short crossword-solving sessions.
