About Dook
Dook is a Scottish body-care brand founded in 2018, creating handmade products in its Edinburgh workshop. Its name comes from a Scots word meaning to dip, bathe or plunge, reflecting the brand’s focus on making everyday bathing feel like a home-spa ritual. Dook is best known for small-batch Himalayan salt soaps, made with plant-based ingredients, scented with 100% essential oils and coloured with natural clays and charcoal.
The range includes varied fragrance blends, limited collaborations and gift sets, alongside bath salts, skincare and solid shampoo bars. Customers can also shop scented candles, soap dishes, bathroom accessories, towels and textiles, gift vouchers, subscriptions and workshop experiences. Dook describes its products as vegan, palm-oil free and water-free, and aims to reduce plastic through minimal packaging, using recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible.
