About Door County Century
The Door County Century (DCC) is celebrated as the original century distance cycling event, taking place annually on the picturesque Door County peninsula in Wisconsin. Since its inception in 1979 by the Bay Shore Bicycle Club, this event has become a favored destination for cycling enthusiasts, attracting around 3,000 riders each year. What sets the DCC apart is that it is not a race; participants are encouraged to ride at their own pace, allowing them to fully enjoy the stunning scenery.
Riders can choose from four flexible course lengths—30, 50, 70, or 100 miles—tailoring their experience according to personal preferences. The route showcases breathtaking aspects of Door County, from scenic shorelines to charming local shops and restaurants.
