For those in need! Dorcas is a Christian organisation that provides humanitarian assistance and facilitates development cooperation. Dorcas is active in Eastern Europe, Eastern Africa and the Middle East. Local colleagues lead our 14 country offices. We invest in resilient communities in which everyone can participate. We help over one million people annually. When a disaster or a crisis occurs, we provide humanitarian assistance and support communities to rebuild themselves. At the same time, we invest in structural solutions for poverty and social exclusion. In our work we are accountable, compassionate, determined and locally led.

About Dorcas
Dorcas Aid Romania is a brand dedicated to creating a lasting change in the lives of those who experience poverty and difficulties. Our mission is to provide humanitarian aid, promote social inclusion, support social entrepreneurship, and establish safety nets for vulnerable individuals. We believe that each person is unique and possesses valuable skills that can be harnessed.
Through collaborations with our partners, we strive to make a difference at the individual, community, and societal levels. Our projects are implemented in seven counties across Romania, aiming to address the needs of refugees crossing the Romanian border and internally displaced individuals in Ukraine. By donating material and financial resources to local organizations, we aim to support as many people as possible.
