Dorchester Food Co is a grassroots initiative dedicated to creating a community and worker-owned grocery store that brings healthy food within reach while promoting economic opportunity through neighborhood engagement. Our vision is to foster a diverse and inclusive community that offers employment, ownership, and access to nutritious food. As a food co-op, we are committed to serving and representing the rich cultural, racial, and socio-economic diversity of Boston's neighborhoods, particularly Dorchester.

Our offerings will include a wide range of products and services to cater to the needs of the community. We will provide affordable fresh organic and conventional produce, a large bulk food section, and green household products. Moreover, we will create an educational community space that hosts various cultural activities.

Dorchester Food Co aims to be a socially responsible business, incorporating beautiful green design and sustainable practices. We aspire to be a dynamic center for healthy eating and sustainable living, celebrating the unique strengths and cultures of Dorchester. By working collaboratively with corner stores, farmers' markets, and neighborhood health centers, we strive to become a food hub, providing greater local access to affordable healthy food.
