Dorothée Cottarel

Dorothée Cottarel is a doula and psycho-corporeal and emotional therapist offering support to women and couples through significant life transitions. Based in the Arles area, with in-person sessions across Arles, the Alpilles, Camargue, Avignon and southern Vaucluse, she also works online. Her approach brings together attentive listening, conversation, breath, movement, sound and creative practices, with care tailored to each person’s needs and experience.

Services include support during pregnancy, birth preparation and postpartum, as well as guidance through changes in relationships and other life stages. Cottarel also works with people facing grief, including perinatal loss, separation, trauma and the effects of violence, creating a confidential and supportive space to explore emotions and reconnect with the body. For couples, she offers a place to communicate and strengthen their relationship during difficult transitions.

Her wider offerings include workshops, yoga and meditation sessions, movement and creative activities, circles, retreats and journeys. The aim is to help clients develop self-confidence, emotional awareness and a greater sense of connection with themselves and others.
