Dorpsgolf Barneveld

Rotary Dorpsgolf is a community golf event organised by Rotaryclub Barneveld, combining sport, social connection and fundraising for local charities. Held in Barneveld, the event takes players through the Schaffelaarsebos and the town centre. Its 2026 edition is scheduled for Saturday, 12 September, marking the event’s thirteenth year.

Participants play a 27-hole course spread across the town, in teams known as flights of four. Marshals guide and support play at each hole, and the flight completing the course in the fewest strokes wins the coveted trophy. A prize for the best-dressed flight adds a creative touch to the day. The organisers welcome people who want to take part as players or volunteer as marshals.

Proceeds from Dorpsgolf support local good causes. The event also reflects Rotary’s wider commitment to service, including international projects such as End Polio Now. Van Veen Advocaten is the event’s principal sponsor, supporting its community spirit and charitable purpose. Rotary Dorpsgolf offers a relaxed, sociable way to enjoy golf while contributing to the Barneveld community.
