Dorset National Landscape

Brand Description:

Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) is dedicated to preserving and conserving the stunning landscapes of Dorset for future generations. Recognizing that this task cannot be accomplished alone, they work collaboratively with landowners, local communities, and specialist organizations to ensure the protection of these special landscapes. The backbone of their efforts lies in their comprehensive 5-year Management Plan, which serves as a shared vision for the AONB's future and provides guidance for all stakeholders involved. The AONB is defined by its unique and outstanding special qualities, which encompass its rich historical and cultural connections, diverse wildlife habitats, and breathtaking natural landscapes. From dry stone walling to Stepping into Nature, the AONB actively engages people in various projects and initiatives that foster a stronger connection with nature. Additionally, they offer funds and grants for local projects through their Sustainable Development Fund. By joining forces with Dorset AONB, you can contribute to the preservation and enhancement of this exceptional landscape.
