The organization coordinates a program of events and community activities, including its annual Prinsenbal, where the new carnival prince and other ceremonial leaders are introduced. For the current season, Prince Jos I, the association’s 50th prince, leads Dorstvlegelland alongside Princess Lieke Wiegers, Hofnar Thijs Thijssen and adjudants Sjoerd Leijsten and Erik Hoogers.
