Dortmunder Reiterverein

Dortmunder Reiterverein e. V. is an equestrian club in Dortmund, founded in 1906.

It offers activities for children and families, riding lessons, and services for horse owners. The club provides riding instruction and rents horse boxes, with vacancies announced on its website. Its “Kleine Hofhelden” and “Große Hofhelden” programs give children opportunities to take part in activities centered on horses and ponies.

Younger participants can also join the Rudi Tour, an equine experience for children, or “Abenteuer mit Blacky,” introduced as an additional program from November 2026. The club hosts seasonal events, including a Nikolaus celebration, and offers horse- or pony-themed birthday parties throughout the year. It also organizes special activity days and holiday programs, including riding camps.

Information and course bookings are handled by email, while online registration is available through the club’s Reitbuch system. Located on Lütgenholthauser Straße in Dortmund, the association shares event details, news, and opportunities to support its work through its website and social media
