115 Double Ten Houston is the organizing platform for Houston’s annual celebrations of Taiwan’s Double Ten National Day, led by the Houston Double Ten National Day Preparatory Committee. The committee brings together the local Taiwanese and Chinese diaspora community to plan a series of commemorative and cultural activities, coordinating with the direction of Taiwan’s Overseas Community Affairs Council. Its mission is to celebrate the Republic of China (Taiwan), strengthen community connections and pride, and introduce Taiwan’s values of democracy and freedom to the wider Houston community.
The program includes a National Day gala dinner, a flag-raising ceremony and reception, and performances such as Taiwan Pulse. The website shares event announcements, gala booking information, sponsorship opportunities, and records from previous years. Activities take place at Houston venues, including the Houston Marriott Westchase and Dunham Theater at Houston Christian University. Through public celebrations, cultural programming, and community participation, 115 Double Ten Houston provides a focal point for honoring Taiwan’s national day and bringing local residents together.
