Double Wing Brewing Co. is an Ohio craft brewery focused on making “real, local” beer for passionate drinkers. The business began in 2008 as Cellar Rats Brewery and adopted the Double Wing name in 2016. Owner and head brewer Tony Debevc developed the name from a beer he created for his father, a sport pilot, inspired by the type of plane his father flew.
The brewery’s Beer Bar and taproom are located inside Debonné Vineyards in Madison, Ohio, where visitors can enjoy its beers and find information about food, entertainment, and what is on tap through the winery. Its range includes options such as Butter Pecan Porter, Imperial Stout, and P.O.C. Pilsener, with flavors spanning malty and nutty to rich, coffee-inflected, and crisp. Double Wing also offers contract brewing and online beer sales in partnership with Valley Wine Group, which provides delivery to Northeast Ohio. Customers can join the annual Mug Club for beer, merchandise, and partner-venue benefits. The brewery also sells carry-out beer and kegs.
