Douglas Bulldogs

Douglas Bulldogs Youth Football and Cheer (DBYFC) is a community youth sports organization serving the Douglas, Arizona area. As a member of the Sonoran Desert AYF Football League, the program provides supervised youth tackle football and cheerleading, with registration open for the 2026 season. Its guiding spirit is captured in the motto “One Town, One Team,” and it emphasizes bravery, inspiration, leadership, and shared community pride.

DBYFC aims to help young people develop good sportsmanship, honesty, loyalty, courage, scholarship, and physical fitness. Participants learn the fundamentals of football or cheerleading in a structured, safety-oriented environment designed to encourage broad participation and protect everyone involved. The organization prioritizes youth development over winning at any cost and seeks to keep adult and parental pressure from undermining that purpose. It also expects volunteers to follow the program’s goals and guidelines.

In addition to welcoming players and cheer participants, the organization is seeking a league photographer or videographer. Interested community members can contact DBYFC or visit a registration location during the offseason.
