Douglas College Athletics, home to the Royals, is dedicated to fostering a rich sporting culture through its extensive athletic programs. The department supports both men's and women's sports, including baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and softball. The Royals not only compete in intercollegiate events but also prioritize academic achievements, as evidenced by recent accolades such as multiple athletes being named CCAA Academic All-Canadians and recipients of BC AAP Scholarships.

At Douglas College, students have the opportunity to engage in varsity athletics while receiving comprehensive academic support. The athletics department also facilitates opportunities for prospective students through Royals ID Camps and recruiting forms. In addition, fans and visitors are encouraged to experience the excitement of a Royals game by attending live events at their impressive facilities. With a commitment to both athletic excellence and academic integrity, Douglas College Athletics aims to inspire a sense of community and pride among its student-athletes, enhancing their overall college experience.
