Doug Prather

Doug Prather Fine Art Photography presents the work of equine photographer Doug Prather, whose images capture horses in harmony with nature. With an artist’s eye for beauty and balance and a horseman’s understanding of equine anatomy, Prather photographs Thoroughbreds and other horses amid the landscapes and settings of the equine world. His work highlights the beauty of Kentucky’s Bluegrass country as well as the spirit and character of the horse.

The collection includes fine art photographic prints, horse racing pictures, calendars, and books. Images and themed collections feature Kentucky, seasonal landscapes, Florida racing and eventing, Western scenes, Louisville, exotic subjects, and notable racing themes such as the Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown winners. The shop also offers new releases and special selections. Some limited-edition photographic prints have sold out and become valuable to collectors. Through its online store, the brand serves people who appreciate equine photography and Thoroughbred art, offering a range of imagery that connects horses with their surroundings and invites viewers to experience the calm and beauty of the landscape.
