Doula Beyond

Doula & Beyond LLC provides birth, postpartum, and holistic fertility support for women and families. Led by doula ShaTaura Lewis, the practice aims to be a trusted partner, advocate, and resource throughout the journey to motherhood, helping clients feel informed, supported, and empowered. Its services include birth and labor support, postpartum care, and holistic fertility care, with additional offerings under “Beyond Services.” Support is available in person in Birmingham, Alabama, and virtually in surrounding areas.

The practice’s approach centers on creating a positive, nurturing experience and honoring each family’s needs. Client testimonials describe practical guidance, emotional encouragement, and continued care before, during, and after birth. Examples include sharing exercises and stretches, helping clients prepare birth plans, offering companionship during labor, and checking in with families postpartum. Support may also include everyday assistance, such as holding a baby while a parent attends to household tasks. Doula & Beyond LLC invites prospective clients to book a consultation to discuss their needs and explore available services.
