Doula's aan de Ijssel

Doula’s aan de IJssel is a collaborative doula practice serving the Zutphen region, offering personal, knowledgeable support throughout pregnancy and birth. Its doulas aim to provide calm, stability and reassurance, helping expectant parents feel supported as they prepare to welcome their baby. The practice recognises that every birth is unique and cannot be planned in detail, while emphasising that preparation and information can help parents make choices that suit them.

Support includes practical guidance during pregnancy and encouragement around the birth, whether it takes place at home or in hospital. The doulas help clients build confidence in themselves, their bodies and the birth process, with the goal of helping them look back on the experience with satisfaction. Their approach combines warm, individual attention with knowledge of maternity care. They trained at Holos Academie and continue to develop their expertise through additional education and training related to pregnancy, childbirth and the postnatal period. Prospective clients can arrange a no-obligation introductory conversation to explore whether the practice is a good fit.
