Doulas of Melbourne’s East (D. O. M.
E. ) is a collective of professionally trained birth support workers serving Melbourne and its eastern suburbs. The brand helps expectant parents prepare for and navigate pregnancy, labour, birth and the postnatal period, with support centred on the mother and her priorities.
D. O. M.
E. doulas offer continuous emotional, physical and informational support, remaining with clients during labour and birth. They help parents access information, consider their options and make their own decisions, while also supporting partners, family members and communication around the client’s preferences.
Practical assistance may include comfort measures, guidance on positions and calming reassurance. The team’s approach is hands-on and grounded in professional training, with the aim of helping clients feel prepared for changing circumstances rather than promising a particular birth outcome. D.
O. M. E.
offers doula packages and appointments, as well as LearnBirth independent childbirth education classes. Its services are intended for people seeking informed, personal support through the birth experience, including support that helps partners feel involved and prepared
