Doula Zus

Doula Zus is a doula and maternity-care service based in Heiloo, the Netherlands, led by Miriam Mengerink, a doula, maternity nurse, and mother of three. The brand provides personal, compassionate guidance through pregnancy, birth, and the early postnatal period, with support tailored to each family’s needs. During pregnancy, Miriam offers individual coaching and home-based preparation sessions for expectant parents, helping them discuss their wishes and prepare for birth.

She provides continuous support throughout labour, whether it takes place at home or in hospital. For clients with a medical indication who give birth in hospital, she can remain with them through the birth as a clinical doula, offering a familiar and steady presence. Doula Zus also offers self-employed maternity care arranged around the family’s support needs, as well as breech consultations and rental of birth pools and TENS equipment.
