Dowe Modellbau

Gunter Dowe Modellbau is a Berlin-based model-making workshop and master craftsman business with more than 30 years of experience. The company creates architectural models at a range of scales, from 1:50 to 1:1000, alongside design models, prototypes and small production runs. Its portfolio includes residential developments, public buildings, interiors, infrastructure and recognizable Berlin landmarks, with examples presented in an online project gallery.

The workshop also supports architectural and urban-planning competitions. Services include producing presentation and site-context models, preparing insertion plates, supplying digital data and providing protective covers. For competition projects, the team can also arrange delivery to participants and repair damage caused during shipping. Gunter Dowe Modellbau emphasizes helping clients present their ideas effectively and has experience building models for winning entries.

Additional offerings include souvenir models and a milling and plotting service, described as a special option for students. The business is a member of the Chamber of Crafts. Its website notes that it no longer offers apprenticeships.
