Downeast Ob/Gyn is a women’s health practice located at 12 Stillwater Avenue, Suite 1, in Bangor, Maine. For 32 years, the practice has cared for women and families in the community. It continues to provide care to its patients while preparing to close on July 2, 2026. After the closure, Dr. Rumsey plans to join Women’s Healthcare of Maine at Eastern Maine Medical Center and encourages his patients to continue their care with him there. Nurse practitioners Jaime Williams and Emily Skrok are still considering their next employment steps and hope to transition their patients to future practices. Downeast Ob/Gyn says it will share updates as they become available and thanks patients for their understanding and support during the transition.
