Downriver Dolls

The Downriver Roller Dolls are a hard-working roller derby league based in Southeast Michigan, bringing local athletes and supporters together through competition, fitness, and community involvement. The league presents a 2026 season of home and away bouts against teams from Michigan, Ohio, and other neighboring areas. Its schedule includes a home matchup with Glass City at Dixie Skateland in Newport, along with games against teams such as the Gem City Violet Femmes, Traverse City, Akron Rowdy Rollers, and Ann Arbor. Events give spectators the chance to experience roller derby in person, with doors opening before each first whistle. The season runs from spring through fall, and details for several later opponents and venues are still to be announced.

The league welcomes people interested in becoming skaters, referees, or non-skating officials, making participation possible both on and off the track. It also organizes fundraising and community events as opportunities to meet people, stay active, have fun, support the community, and take part in the sport.
