Downtimber Taxidermy Studio LLC is a custom taxidermy business based in Cody, Wyoming, led by owner and master taxidermist Cecil Gallagher. The studio focuses on North American big game and custom life-size mounts, with an emphasis on careful detail and quality rather than volume. Its work includes mounts featuring bear, caribou, deer, elk, moose, mountain lion, and sheep, as well as African antelope and other exotic animals.

A gallery on the studio’s website allows visitors to view examples of its taxidermy, while mount reference materials help clients explore options for their projects. The site also provides shipping and handling information for customers arranging the transport of specimens or completed work. Clients can contact the studio by phone, text, or email to discuss their needs.

Downtimber’s stated aim is to preserve lasting memories through custom taxidermy, combining specialized craftsmanship with personalized attention for each mount
