About DOWNTOWN JEWISH
Welcome to Downtown Jewish Center Chabad (DJCC) in Fort Lauderdale, FL. Since 2000, DJCC has been serving the community and creating a thriving Jewish community where everyone is welcomed as family. With our unique approach and unconditional acceptance of every Jew, regardless of affiliation or background, we strive to make everyone feel at home.
At DJCC, we offer a range of programs and services for all ages and interests. Our synagogue provides joyous and spiritual communal services, where congregants participate through song, personal expression, and meditation in prayer. Additionally, we offer educational classes and study sessions that have become a hallmark of our community.
For the younger ones, our preschool follows the Reggio Emilia approach, cultivating a love of learning and exploration. Our Hebrew School aims to provide the highest quality Hebrew and Judaic education to Jewish children, nurturing their Jewish identity and inspiring a love for learning and Judaism. We are constantly expanding our programs and services to serve everyone in the community, and we invite you to join us at any time.
