DoxySpotting is an innovative crowdsourced platform dedicated to mapping prostitution sightings through immersive panoramic online services, primarily leveraging Google Street View. Established in 2010, DoxySpotting provides a unique and interactive way for users to contribute to and explore an atlas of reported sightings across various locations. The project's primary goal is to gather statistics and insights about the patterns and prevalence of prostitution, offering a valuable tool for researchers, policymakers, and the general public.

By allowing users to submit sightings and browse an extensive map, DoxySpotting promotes awareness and understanding of this complex issue. The platform emphasizes community engagement, encouraging participants to share their observations while maintaining a focus on responsible and respectful interaction with the sensitive nature of the subject. DoxySpotting continues to evolve, striving to enhance its database and user experience while addressing the intricacies associated with urban geography and social behavior
