DOZ Syria

DOZ Syria is a humanitarian organization working with communities affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty in Northeast and Central Syria. Its mission is to help people live with safety and dignity while supporting recovery and long-term resilience. The organization combines emergency assistance with community-driven development, guided by humanitarian principles and a commitment to inclusive services.

DOZ Syria works across protection, livelihoods, health, education, and water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH). Its services include life-saving aid, healthcare, food and shelter support, education, clean-water initiatives, and protection programs for women, children, and survivors of violence. It also provides psychosocial support, skills training, livelihood opportunities, and assistance to people with disabilities. Community projects include rehabilitating healthcare facilities and schools, supporting food security, and helping families build economic stability.

Through dialogue, reconciliation, and community engagement, DOZ Syria also works to rebuild trust and social connections. Its programs prioritize women, girls, children, youth, and people with disabilities, aiming to address urgent needs while helping individuals and communities regain opportunities and independence.
