Dozinky Doozy

Gravel Quest LLC organizes the Dozinky Doozy, an annual harvest gravel cycling challenge held in Nebraska’s Bohemian Alps. The event starts and finishes at Czechland Lake Recreation Area near Prague and invites riders to experience the region’s dirt roads, steep hills, and Platte River valley. Its 200-kilometer (125-mile) course is arranged as three distinct loops of about 40 miles each, with a 10-hour, 25-minute completion window. Riders can take on the full challenge individually or, since 2025, enter a three-person relay, with each teammate completing one loop.

The event is designed for both determined racers and participants who simply want to enjoy the ride and scenery. Registration includes a post-ride meal and beverages, finisher patches for Doozy finishers, awards for unofficial first-place men’s and women’s riders, a stocked checkpoint at Czechland Lake, and limited support along the route. Gravel Quest also provides event-day rider check-in and shares practical information about routes, rules, lodging, and registration. The event celebrates effort and the rewards of completing a demanding ride.
