CAPD, or the Can Tho Disabled People's Association, is a dedicated organization focused on empowering individuals with disabilities in Vietnam. Established with a mission to provide vocational training and job placement services, CAPD works tirelessly to enhance awareness and capabilities among the disabled community and the general public regarding their rights. The association serves as a vital link between social welfare programs and individuals with disabilities, facilitating access to necessary resources and support.

CAPD offers a range of services including skill development, policy advocacy, and community integration programs. Their initiatives aim to dismantle barriers for disabled individuals, promoting inclusivity through events such as the “Step Towards Integration” sports charity event. In addition to vocational training, they run educational workshops on gender equality and domestic violence prevention, ensuring comprehensive support for their members. By creating a more accessible environment and fostering social connections, CAPD is instrumental in building a society that values and includes all individuals, irrespective of their abilities.
