About DP Video Camp
DPMedia Camp is an innovative summer camp catering to children ages 8-13 in Goleta, Santa Barbara, and the surrounding areas. Designed to spark creativity, the camp offers young aspiring filmmakers and photographers hands-on experience in video production and photography. With the guidance of experienced media teachers and high school media students, campers dive into the thrilling world of media arts, creating unique projects such as videos featuring imaginative themes like “Overlord Squid Takeover” and capturing stunning images on the picturesque Dos Pueblos campus.
The program allows campers to storyboard, shoot, and edit their own videos using industry-standard equipment. They also explore photography with Canon DSLRs, culminating in a personal photo gallery for families to enjoy. With flexible scheduling options, including an all-day session, DPMedia Camp provides an enriching environment where creativity flourishes.
