TasPorts

Devonport Airport is an important air travel gateway on Tasmania’s north-west coast, serving visitors and the local community travelling to and through the Devonport area. The airport provides flight information and practical resources to help passengers prepare for their journey, including guidance on getting to the terminal, checking in, packing baggage and passing through security. It describes itself as the largest security-controlled airport on Tasmania’s north-west coast and is committed to providing a safe environment for visitors.

Passenger services and information include parking, car hire, airport facilities and additional assistance for people who need accessibility support. The airport also offers guidance for families travelling with children and directs passengers to the appropriate contact for lost property, distinguishing between items lost on a Qantas flight and property misplaced elsewhere at the airport. For travellers exploring the region, Devonport Airport highlights tourism across the Cradle Coast. TasPorts is progressing the Devonport Airport Master Plan 2035, which sets out a vision for the airport as a key tourism and business gateway to north-west Tasmania.
