The Deutsches Drachengeschwader e.V. is Germany’s national class association for the International Dragon, a sailing class with an active racing community. The association is a member of the German Sailing Association (DSV) and belongs to the international Dragon Association (IDA). It connects sailors and fleets, shares class news, and provides information and resources for people involved in Dragon sailing.
Its website supports members and the wider sailing community with a calendar of regattas, details on race guidelines, and results and rankings, including qualification lists and annual standings. It also publishes information about the International German Championship and other competitions, alongside reports from fleets and sailing events. Resources cover the Dragon, class rules, measurement certificates, and the class association’s activities. Sailors can also browse a second-hand marketplace for boats, sails, and equipment, and post listings. A crew exchange helps connect sailors with teams. News, event updates, and information about membership and contact options round out the association’s services.
