DraggnTails Flight School, operated by Dragging Tails LLC, is a flight training school based at Patz Field (KEBA) in Elbert County, Georgia. The school focuses on grassroots aviation and aims to preserve traditional stick-and-rudder flying while helping prepare the next generation of pilots. Its training emphasizes the precision, finesse, and understanding of flight fundamentals developed through flying tailwheel aircraft.
DraggnTails offers instruction for private pilot certificates, commercial pilot training, and tailwheel and high-performance endorsements. The school also provides support for pilots seeking an additional rating or looking to refresh their skills. Training is hands-on and personalized, with an emphasis on safety and a welcoming, enjoyable learning environment. Students can learn in a traditional tailwheel airplane and build skills they can apply to different paths in aviation.
The school’s instructors, Nathan Bullock and Adam Riehl, are aviators who share an enthusiasm for tailwheel flying. Prospective students can contact DraggnTails to arrange a Discovery Flight and learn more about its services, instructors, and fleet.
