Dragon Busters

North Shore Dragon Busters is a dragon boat team and society for breast cancer survivors located on the North Shore. Guided by the values “Courage, Strength, Power,” the team brings members together to paddle and take on the challenge of dragon boating while supporting one another. The organization describes paddling as a way to focus on physical, emotional, and mental well-being in a supportive environment, while enjoying an active and fun-filled life after a breast cancer diagnosis.

North Shore Dragon Busters welcomes breast cancer survivors interested in joining the team and sharing in its activities. Its website features photo galleries documenting the group’s history and seasons, along with updates about events and team activities. The team has taken part in gatherings including the Penticton and Steveston Dragon Boat Festivals and the CIBC Run for the Cure. The society also invites people to help spread its message and offers contact channels for membership enquiries, sponsorship, communications, and donations.
