Dragon Rhythm Kung

Dragon Rhythm Shaolin Kung Fu is a martial arts and wellness academy based in Fremont, California, serving students in Fremont and nearby communities including Union City, Newark, Milpitas, and Dublin. The school teaches traditional Shaolin Kung Fu, a discipline with roots at China’s Shaolin Temple, alongside modern martial arts and practical self-defense. Its programs include children’s and adult classes, traditional fist forms, weapons skills, Tai Chi, Qigong, and senior wellness training.

Led by Master Long Yuan, whom the academy identifies as a 34th-generation warrior monk from Shaolin Temple on Mount Song in Henan, China, the school emphasizes both physical practice and personal development. It describes training as a way to build strength, confidence, focus, discipline, coordination, respect, positive social skills, and an improved self-image. Video demonstrations are available for class levels, and prospective students can request a free trial lesson. The academy also hosts competitions, performances, and cultural activities, including Kung Fu demonstrations and China trips.
