Dra. Maria Julia Gregório Calas is a physician specializing in gynecology, mastology and breast imaging, with a practice focused on women’s health and evidence-based, individualized care. A graduate of the Faculdade de Medicina de Vassouras, she completed medical residency in gynecology and obstetrics, specialist training in mastology at INCA, and further studies in breast radiology in Brazil and abroad. She holds a master’s and doctorate in breast radiology from UFRJ.

Her clinical services include gynecological consultations, mastology consultations and breast ultrasound. In breast imaging, her work encompasses mammography, ultrasound, magnetic resonance imaging and interventional examinations, supporting accurate diagnosis and early detection. Her gynecology practice includes preventive care and guidance through menopause and the climacteric.

Dr. Calas also teaches women’s health at Faculdade Estácio de Sá, conducts research, contributes to medical journals and scientific publications, and lectures at professional events. She served as president of the Brazilian Society of Mastology for 2023–2025 and is vice-president and co-creator of Instituto Nosso Papo Rosa.
