Dravend Vertrouwen is a riding instruction service for riders who want to train their horses in a horse-friendly way. Its approach centres on balance, relaxation and trust, with attention to both the rider’s position and the horse’s straightness. The aim is to help horse and rider move and work together in greater harmony, while encouraging the horse to use its body effectively and sustainably.
Lessons are led by Karlijn, whose teaching is described by clients as calm, clear and patient. Instruction includes practical guidance on the rider’s posture and seat, as well as exercises to improve the horse’s straightness. Karlijn also explains the purpose of exercises and can demonstrate concepts verbally and from the ground, helping riders understand how changes in their own bodies affect their horses.
Dravend Vertrouwen is suited to riders seeking thoughtful, individual guidance and a better understanding of their partnership with their horse. The website provides information about the instructor, training approach, services and rates, and invites prospective clients to get in touch by email or phone.
