The Pediatric Care Center provides pediatric medical care for children and families in Rio Grande City, Escobares, and Zapata, Texas. Guided by the belief that every patient’s needs come first, the care team aims to create a safe, nurturing environment and treat each child with the attention and compassion they would offer their own family. The center serves newborns, toddlers, and pre-teens, and emphasizes helping children stay healthy through preventive care as well as evaluation and treatment.

Services include newborn physicals, immunizations, health screenings, anemia evaluations, allergy care, and sports physicals. The center also lists telemedicine and counseling among its offerings. Families can find clinic locations in all three communities and contact each location directly to arrange care. The practice is led by Dr. B, who completed medical school at Louisiana State University in 2000 and a pediatric residency at the University of Florida in 2003, and has lived in the Valley since then. Community involvement is another part of the center’s work, including kid-friendly and educational events.
