Dr. Bruce Hoffman

Dr. Bruce Hoffman is an integrative and functional medicine educator whose work focuses on complex chronic illness and cases that have not responded to conventional or single-system approaches. Drawing on more than 30 years of clinical experience, he created the Seven Stages to Health and Transformation, a framework that helps practitioners understand the whole person and prioritize care across environmental, physical, energetic, emotional, intellectual, soul, and spiritual dimensions. Hoffman trained at the University of Cape Town and has pursued education in functional, regenerative, environmental, and other therapeutic approaches. He also co-authored global consensus diagnostic criteria for mast cell activation syndrome with Dr. Lawrence Afrin.
