Denver Regional COG

The Denver Regional Council of Governments (DRCOG) brings together cities, counties and towns across the Denver region to coordinate regional priorities and improve quality of life. Through its member governments, DRCOG establishes guidelines, sets policy and allocates funding for transportation and personal mobility, growth and development, and resources for aging and disability. Its work supports an efficient development pattern, a connected multimodal region, a safe and resilient environment, healthy and inclusive communities, and a vibrant regional economy.

DRCOG provides regional transportation planning, data, maps and modeling, and programs that help communities plan for housing and development. Its initiatives include Metro Vision, a Regional Housing Strategy, air quality planning, and transportation project and funding programs. Through the Area Agency on Aging, it offers information and assistance, caregiver support, options counseling, case management, transportation services and other resources for older adults and people with disabilities. DRCOG also promotes commuting options through Way to Go, with resources for biking, walking, transit, carpooling, telework and vanpooling, as well as Bike to Work Day and employer programs.
