Lostock Hall Medical Centre

Dr Craven Women’s Health is a women’s healthcare service in Lancashire founded by Dr Ewa Craven, an experienced community GP and British Menopause Society-accredited Menopause Specialist and Trainer. It provides face-to-face, personalised care for women at every stage of life, from first periods through menopause. The service supports concerns including perimenopause and menopause, vulval discomfort, menstrual cycle disorders, contraception and urogynaecology.

Dr Craven aims to help patients understand their health and make informed decisions through attentive consultations and individualised care plans. Treatment may include lifestyle guidance and medication, with plans reviewed regularly and developed in collaboration with other health professionals, including a patient’s GP. Patients do not need a GP referral to book, and receive a letter summarising their agreed plan after an appointment.

Alongside private consultations, Dr Craven contributes to community women’s health events and professional training. Her work includes leadership on women’s health in Lancashire and South Cumbria, supporting the development of Women’s Health Hubs and promoting better access to care across local communities.
