The Driftage Society is a Japanese academic organization dedicated to the study of materials washed ashore and related coastal topics. It brings together members interested in beachcombing, research, and the cultural and scientific significance of shoreline finds. The society shares information through its publications, including the journal of the Driftage Society and its newsletter, Donburako, and provides access to current and past issues.
