DR Inclusive Fitness

DR Inclusive Fitness & Wellbeing is a specialist fitness and wellbeing provider based in Scotland, describing itself as Scotland’s first gym for disabled people. Its team of specialist personal trainers brings experience of working with, living with, or identifying as disabled, and has completed disability equality training. The organisation focuses on making fitness more accessible and supporting individuals to pursue their personal goals.

Services include one-to-one personal training tailored to areas such as functional ability, balance, coordination, range of movement, strength and conditioning. Adapted fitness classes use specialist gym equipment to make circuit training accessible to more people. Clients can also access massage therapies, including sports, injury and remedial massage, hot stone treatments and facials. Home visits are available across Edinburgh and the Lothians for people who find this a more accessible option. DR Inclusive Fitness also works with children from age five, in partnership with local authorities and education, and offers golf sessions with specialist equipment and coaches through ParaGolfer.
