About Drive Electric Events
National Drive Electric Month (NDEW), celebrated from September 12 to October 12, 2025, is an annual initiative aimed at promoting the benefits of electric vehicles, including all-electric and plug-in hybrid cars, trucks, and motorcycles. Organized by Plug In America, along with partners like the Electric Vehicle Association and Sierra Club, this nationwide celebration allows potential electric vehicle (EV) drivers to engage with current owners through various events, both online and in-person.
Participants can RSVP for gatherings where experienced EV owners share insights about their journey to electrification. The month-long event not only raises awareness but also invites individuals to get involved by attending, volunteering, or organizing events in their communities.
