The DRK Ortsverein Brackenheim is a local branch of the German Red Cross, with a tradition of community service dating back to 1926. Its area of activity includes Brackenheim, Güglingen and Cleebronn, with members also supporting civil protection operations beyond the region when needed. The association has approximately 500 members, including around 50 active volunteers in its response unit and youth organization, alongside about 450 supporting members.

Its work focuses on first-aid education, medical support at public events, youth engagement, blood donation and humanitarian assistance. The Sanitätsdienst provides care at gatherings such as concerts and street festivals, while trained first responders help people in emergencies until professional ambulance services arrive. The local branch also promotes blood donation and contributes to the broader effort to maintain the blood supply. Through the German Red Cross Youth, children and young people can take part in the organization’s activities. Residents can support the association by becoming members, volunteering or participating in its services and events.
