DRK Dillingen

The DRK Ortsverein Dillingen/Saar e.V. is a local association of the German Red Cross serving Dillingen/Saar and the surrounding community. Its work combines emergency preparedness, first aid, health activities, youth engagement and social support. The association provides first aid courses through its training centre and internal training for members, alongside regular volunteer service meetings. Its specialist teams include information and communications, psychosocial emergency care, rescue dog work, medical services, and technology and safety. It also contributes to civil protection through an operational unit and rapid response group, and provides medical support at events.
