The German Red Cross (DRK) Local Association Dülmen e. V. is a community-based organization with a history of local service dating back to 1930.
Around 80 volunteers contribute their time, while more than 900 supporting members help fund its work through their membership fees. The association’s activities include organizing blood donation events, providing medical standby services at events, and contributing to emergency response and disaster relief. It also supports young people through youth groups and school first-aid programs.
In addition, the association operates two childcare centers, where more than 40 employees care for approximately 160 children. Its work is guided by the seven principles of the international Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement: humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality. Through its website, the DRK Local Association Dülmen shares news, introduces its services and members, and explains how people can support its work, including through donations to relief projects.
The association also provides updates and information about upcoming events through its social media channels
