The German Red Cross Local Association Glücksburg e.V. is a community-based volunteer organisation serving Glücksburg and the surrounding area. With a long tradition, it focuses on social support, medical services, humanitarian assistance and disaster response. Its work brings together practical help, community activities and opportunities for local people to contribute.
The association offers a medical service team, first-aid training and support for blood donors. Its community programmes also include a dance group and yoga course. People interested in volunteering can take part in activities such as the blood donation team, the dance group or the Glücksburg-Sterup medical service team. The association welcomes enquiries from prospective volunteers.
Residents can support its local work by becoming a sustaining member or making a one-time financial donation. Contributions can also help fund a relief project. The association’s website provides information about its programmes, current news, services, contact details and ways to get involved. As the site is under development, visitors are encouraged to contact the organisation for further information about its activities.
