The German Red Cross (DRK) Hohenlimburg e. V. is a local voluntary organisation with a history of community service dating back to 1892.
Its members support people in and around Hohenlimburg through social work, humanitarian aid, and disaster response. The organisation also provides first-aid and medical services at public events, including the Schlossspiele and the town festival. Its Red Cross community brings together volunteers who contribute across several areas, including event medical support, catering, blood donation activities, and collections of used clothing and waste paper.
For local events and celebrations, the club also offers equipment rental, including a bouncy castle. The association shares information about the Red Cross’s seven fundamental principles and invites the public to get involved through volunteering or donations to relief projects. By combining practical event services with community support and humanitarian work, DRK Hohenlimburg provides residents with opportunities to access assistance, contribute their time, and support local and broader relief efforts
