The German Red Cross District Association Böblingen (DRK-Kreisverband Böblingen e.V.) is a community-based humanitarian organisation serving people across the Böblingen district. Its work brings together around 2,000 volunteers and 1,100 paid employees, who provide emergency services, social support and opportunities for community involvement.

Its services include emergency response, patient transport and ambulance services, as well as residential and home-based elder care, day care and domestic nursing. The association offers home emergency alert systems for use at home and on the go, alongside community first-responder teams, medical support at events and assistance for people affected by emergencies. Social services include dementia support groups, everyday assistance, housing advice, clothing shops and clothing collection points, and a service for fulfilling heartfelt wishes.

The organisation also provides first-aid training for individuals, workplaces, families and childcare settings, plus courses in resuscitation, fire safety and emergency preparedness. Through its youth organisation, local branches, volunteer programmes and blood donation services, the association enables residents to contribute to its work.
